In the spring of 2020, SARS-CoV-2 became a global pandemic and sent the world into a state of uncertainty. When classes at Temple University suddenly became physically distant, GAD 3023, the Creative Coding class in Graphic & Interactive Design, began collecting the experiences of students at Tyler School of Art and Architecture to visualize how these experiences and mindsets changed over time. Each week of online instruction in Spring 2020 is represented here in self-reported student emotional states, quotes from surveyed students, and news headlines.
